I should have known better...

She asked for a skirt, but I insisted on sewing her shorts.  She obviously hates them.  I think they look cute and will be very useful this summer.  Not sure if I'll take the leap and sew up the other pair I've got fabric laying out for.  Maybe she'll change her mind...maybe...

Springtime in Paris

The first of her spring outfits.  She loves Paris and now thinks we need to travel there since she's got this outfit. 

Chenille Baby Blanket

Four layers of free fabric, sewing way too many straight lines, cutting 3 layers between all stitched lines, cramped hand, boredom of repetitive sewing, boredom of repetitive cutting, wash and dry.......was all worth it because it's so pretty!!  This project solidifies the fact that I have nowhere near enough patience to be quilter!
