Ruffle tank dress

A quick and easy dress for summer.  I bought the tank for less than a dollar at end of season last year and fabric was some I picked up from Walmart when their fabric section went 50% clearance a couple years ago.  Made a little 3-D butterfly to finish off the outfit.  Total cost was less than $3.

I should have known better...

She asked for a skirt, but I insisted on sewing her shorts.  She obviously hates them.  I think they look cute and will be very useful this summer.  Not sure if I'll take the leap and sew up the other pair I've got fabric laying out for.  Maybe she'll change her mind...maybe...
